I love nursing. The only thing better is to teach nursing. Lucky me.

Welcome to my e-portfolio. I retired as a full-time nurse educator at the College of Southern Idaho in 2019 receiving my Masters Degree in Nursing Education from Idaho State University in May 2011. I have a behavioral background and have worked at Canyon View Psychiatric Hospital in acute adult mental health, Mountain View Geriatric Psychiatry for acute elderly mental health, Region V Adult Mental Health for the State of Idaho.
After retirement, I could not sit still so took a position as Director at a non-profit, Recovery In Motion, that provides free support to those with mental health/substance use disorders. It is a joy to be there, and my staff and volunteers are the heartbeat of the organization. I have a "Course Reflections" section to connect you to all of the courses I have completed to obtain my masters and some of the documents I wrote during that time. I hope you enjoy my blog and look forward to meeting some of you as I travel my journey. |
